It’s a simple deduction. If happiness could’ve been bought with money then the rich should’ve been happier than the poor or the middle class. What we observe is complete opposite of it. Rich people are generally stressed and suffer from mental health problems while those who aren’t earning in seven figures are generally happy and satisfied with what they have.
It’s not happiness that money buys, It’s the temporary pleasure of materialistic things that we get from money and then it becomes a never ending race. To be truly one needs to understand that Happiness comes from spiritual wealth, not material wealth. To get joy, we must give it, and to keep joy, we must scatter it.
